Protocol

The Protocol Ministry helps services and special events at Victory Bible Church International – North America run with order, dignity and warm hospitality – especially when the church welcomes guest ministers and visitors.

Order That Serves Worship

The Bible teaches, “Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40). Good order is not about formality for its own sake. When a service is well prepared, people can focus on God instead of being distracted by confusion. Protocol volunteers work quietly in the background so that worship, preaching and fellowship flow smoothly.

What the Protocol Ministry Does

  • Welcomes guests – receiving visiting ministers, dignitaries and first-time visitors with courtesy.
  • Coordinates programmes – helping with seating plans, timing and the order of service at special events.
  • Supports leadership – assisting pastors and ministers before, during and after services.
  • Works with other teams – coordinating closely with ushers, media and public relations.

Serving With Humility

Jesus said that the greatest among us should be the servant of all (Mark 10:43–44). Protocol work is a ministry of service: it honours God by honouring people. Members of this team often need patience, discretion, attention to detail and a friendly spirit – qualities that grow as people serve.

Large gatherings such as conventions, anniversaries and camp meetings depend on the Protocol Ministry to receive guests well and keep programmes on time. See our events page for more about the kinds of gatherings the church holds.

Because protocol volunteers often meet guests before anyone else does, their attitude sets the tone for the whole event. A calm, gracious welcome tells visitors that they are valued and that the church has prepared for them with care.
