Counseling

The Counseling Ministry of Victory Bible Church International – North America offers pastoral care and biblical counsel to members and visitors who are walking through difficult seasons, important decisions or questions of faith.

What Pastoral Counseling Offers

Everyone faces moments when they need a listening ear and wise, prayerful guidance. Scripture says, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). The Counseling Ministry exists to walk alongside people with patience, confidentiality and the truth of God’s Word.

  • Spiritual guidance – help with prayer, doubts, growing in faith and understanding the Bible.
  • Marriage and family – biblical perspective for couples, parents and those preparing for marriage.
  • Life decisions – prayerful counsel when you face a move, a career choice or a major change.
  • Grief and hardship – comfort and encouragement during loss, illness or disappointment.

Care That Points to Christ

Pastoral counseling is rooted in the conviction that God cares about every part of our lives. Counselors listen first, pray with you, and help you see your situation in the light of Scripture. The goal is not only to solve a single problem but to help you grow in trust, wisdom and hope.

Pastoral care is not a substitute for medical, legal or professional mental-health treatment. Where a need calls for specialist help, the ministry will encourage you to seek it and will keep supporting you in prayer. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away.

How to Ask for Counsel

Counseling is arranged through your local VBCI congregation. Visit a branch near you and ask to speak with a pastor, or use our contact page to find the best way to connect. If you would simply like others to pray with you, you can also send a prayer request or ask for a prayer mate.
