The Evangelism Ministry carries the heart of VBCI’s mission: “to convert people within our community in all creative ways and develop them into fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ.” It equips believers to share the good news with love, clarity and courage.
Why Evangelism Is at the Centre
Jesus came “to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10), and before returning to heaven He sent His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20). Victory Bible Church International was born out of that commission; in its early days the church was even called “Jesus People Outreach Church”. Evangelism is therefore not a side activity but part of who we are.
What the Evangelism Ministry Does
- Community outreach – reaching neighbours, friends and co-workers with the message of Christ in creative, respectful ways.
- Training believers – helping members learn how to explain the gospel simply and share their own testimony.
- Follow-up and care – welcoming new believers, praying with them and connecting them to a local congregation.
- Prayer for the lost – standing in faith for family members and communities who do not yet know Jesus.
Every Believer Can Share Their Faith
You do not need to be a preacher to tell others about Jesus. Often the most powerful witness is an ordinary conversation, an act of kindness or a simple invitation to church. Our article on how to share your faith gives practical steps for everyday evangelism, and the School of the Word helps believers grow in their understanding of Scripture.
Join the Evangelism Team
If you have a heart for people who do not yet know Christ, there is a place for you. Outreach activities are organised by each local congregation, so connect with a VBCI branch near you and ask about the evangelism team, or reach us through the contact page.
